In the heart of Darling Harbour, Watershed boasts unrivalled views of Darling Harbour & the city skyline. We have three indoor & four outdoor spaces available (some of which can be combined for larger functions), providing the perfect setting for your event along with a 24 hour licence 7 days a week.
Sit down events are available for a maximum 60 guests
Stand up cocktail-style events are available for groups of any size
The latest dinner booking on a Friday & Saturday night is 7.30pm
All Function bookings are for 4 HOURS.
We do not host 18th-21st Birthdays or Bucks Parties

FUNCTION SPACES
The Watershed Hotel sits just above the promenade of Darling Harbour giving it a true waterfront feel
with a wide variety of spaces to hold your function.
The Watershed can be hired exclusively for functions of up to 400 guests for a stand up style function.
Hire of both Watershed & Cohibar can accommodate groups of 600 or more.
There is an external staircase joining both venues.
Minimum spends apply to all area bookings which vary depending on day of the week & time.
No venue hire applies.

ENTERTAINMENT AREA
30-50 Guests
Caters up to 50 guests for seated or standing events. Can be set up for 50 guests Theatre style. High cocktail tables available. Contains data projector, large screen & pool table. Theatre style seating option.

BANQUETTES
20 - 30 Guests
Caters for 25-30 guests for a casual cocktail style function. This area overlooks the Entertainment Area & internal bar space. Ideal for smaller groups, drinks or canapes.

COCKLE BAY TERRACE | alfresco
20 - 60 Guests standing
The terrace is an uncovered outdoor space overlooking Darling Harbour towards Cockle Bay and the central CBD, it is an outside space with no cover from rain/wind. This area can be combined with the Banquettes (see above) to accommodate groups of up to 100 guests.
Minimum spend $3,000 Saturday evening.
HARBOUR TERRACE | alfresco
20 - 50 Guests
The Harbour Terrace overlooks Darling Harbour towards the northern city skyline. A large glass awning covers most of the area. The area can be used for stand up events (maximum 50 guests) or
seated dining (maximum 40 guests over 4 tables) & can be combined with the adjoining Bistro for a maximum 65 guests.
Minimum spend $3,000 Saturday evening (must be vacated by 9pm for Nightclub)
COHIBAR
Sitting above Watershed, Cohibar offers guests a variety of spaces with views of Darling Harbour and the city skyline. Cohibar is an intimate Cocktail Bar - the ideal venue to host a stand up canape style event including Birthdays, networking events & corporate Functions.
Maximum capacity is 150 guests
CANAPE PACKS
Minimum order of 20 pieces per selection apply
All canapes must be ordered and paid for a minimum 14 days before your event
$25 per person – select 3 from cold/dessert & 2 from hot
$35 – select 4 from cold/dessert & 3 from hot
Canapes will be served by wait staff on platters (included in canape pack price)
Substitutes will be provided for all dietary requirements
